NBBF Dedicates D’Tigers Wins Over US & Argentina To late Sound Sultan

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has dedicated the D’Tigers’ victories over Team USA and Argentina to late Nigerian artist Sound Sultan.

Sound Sultan died early on July 11th, while the Nigerian basketball team was celebrating a historic 90-87 win over Team USA in an Olympic friendly.

After a four-year fight with angioimmunoblastic t-cell lymphoma, he died.

The late musician, a devoted basketball aficionado, assisted in the development of the sport in Lagos’ Festac neighborhood.
