Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has restated his administration’s willingness to work with the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (NITP) on appropriate planning and urban development in order to improve the state’s socio-economic position.
The governor stated his administration would work with local resources and experience to develop the state while receiving members of the Institute, led by its National President, Oluwatoyin Ayinde, at the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan.

He said: “You are welcome to Ibadan and I am glad that you came yesterday and you must have seen some things around. Well, just as you have identified, town planning is a big problem to us in this country.”
