The Oyo Kajola Group (OKG), a socio-political organization in Oyo State, has advised the state’s chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to cease fueling instability and lying in its effort to take over the state by whatever means necessary.
It maintained that no matter how many lies and negative narratives were woven around Seyi Makinde’s people-oriented government, the APC would not be able to take power.
The group accused the opposition party of being responsible for a greater proportion of the state’s security difficulties, stating that the opposition party is also known for exaggerating insecurity to achieve an unfair advantage.
The organization also urged the various desperate groups in the Oyo APC not to create undue tension in the state by holding ward, local council, and state congresses, claiming that the APC gladiators’ desperation could endanger the state’s peace.
According to a statement signed by Adebayo Ayandele, the group’s Media Co-ordinator, Oyo State citizens had learned the APC’s filthy secret of “creating insecurity scenarios and then inflating such difficulties out of proportion to undermine existing government.”
